Finally got my front susp. on, need to order 2 new front tires and get an align. Took it out for a shake down drive yesterday. The 03 cobra front A-arms cut down on the turning radi for sure. The thing just turns tight to what it did before. The tires also used to rub close to full lock and that is gone. Ride is nicer but I can tell I need an align. and tires as they are wearing on the inside so its a tad sloppy still.

Was able to play around with a few new tunes I made since having the wideband hooked up. I got my WOT area dialed in to match my commanded A/F by leaning out the maf transfer 13% to raise it from 11.7-12.2 to the 12.8 range. I had some .3 or so +/- going on so I played around and found my tables had a bit of a jump and thought that may be why it was so much of a range in A/F. I also tested out a n2o tune (not running the bottle) to make sure the A/F would go were I wanted it to from the tables and not via having to mess with the maftransfer.

Got out on the road and the A/F for the NA tune was 12.7-12.8 dead on. I :D, then I repeated a few times to make sure and :D:D. I switched to the n2o tune and hit the floor...went 10.6 and that is were I set it in the tables :D. Looks like things are REALLY coming together. Going to a dyno day setup with our local board and hope to test some timing to see what 32-35* range (N/A) works best and see were power is.

DSS shortblock forged pistons and rods with stock crank and block at around 10.3-10.6:1 comp depending on prod. variance.

Shooting for 275-290 rwhp range. I will be 100% happy with 275 rwhp as with the 150 shot that will put me in the 400rwhp range with over 400ft lbs.

This is all the power I plan to run as I want to do a g-force/astro t5 and 31 spline t-lock 8.8 so I do not really have to over build the trans and rear. The astro should handle the bottle trq spike, the block should be close but not over its limits, and the rear should be good with the weight/power. Much more power and I would have to really step up the whole deal and its starts getting really $$ at that point and you need to look at more aggressive fuel systems, then suspension needs and it just never ends. I can get the rest of the driveline done for around $1500 or so if I do it myself.

God knows I got tons of help and I will offer any help I can...if you have any questions Dan95-5.0 shoot.
