A well needed up grade. No im not really a fan of short throws least i haven't found one i like. If you are using this particular Hurst you have to use your old hardware. ie. the big rubber bushing on the outside. doesnt explain very well. But once it was installed right it makes a huge difference.

Almost done painting here. Also took the liberty of installing new outer bearing and seals and having a another friend of mine weld axle tubes to the housing. And for you trolls out there axles slide in and out just fine my friend does this professionally.

My first rearend build. With all my control arms sprayed over night this removal was done in under an hour. This being the second time I've done a removal. On any vehicle.

Do it right the first time and you'll get this result. Better than the magazine look. A year later still looks like this.

Take your time and use water. And don't use the metal zip strips. Use the bailing wire to tie the ends down. The steel strips look cool but had a Hell of a time getting them tight. After you cut them to be clean they will cut you up next time you do a plug change!!!
