Im geting rid of my LS1 for a new Cobra or a new Mach1

cobras are a bit faster and can be modded more,but the mach is a blast to drive.I love the shaker hood.I put a borla exaust on mine and the thing roars.Drive both and decide that way.

If you already have a supercharger, then why spend the extra 7-10 grand to get the cobra?

I don't think the difference is that much... but you get a factory warranty with the Cobra, you lose it right away if you put a blower on the Mach

im selling my nitrous kit and lt's, air lid and ftra soon and buying the upr venom kit and a set of mac long tube headers and a new xpipe for the lt's and then im geting a upr shifter then after about 5,00miles im puting 4:10's in and a set of 315 bfg's

I would get the cobra if thats an option for you, but the mach is still a sweet car. I am currently debating getting a mach I think the only think holding me back is that I know after having it for a while I would still want a cobra so I think I will hold out and hope for a good deal on a 03 or a 04 when the 05's come out and they cant get rid of the left overs.

This is what I would in your situation. Sell the supercharger kit (if you indeed have one) sell the nitrous kit and your old longtubes. Then Purchase the 03 cobra. Don't even waste your time and money on a nitrous kit for that car (shame, shame) and pony up for a Kenne Bell upgrade to replace the stock eaton. 100 rwhp instantly from that upgrade with no tuning is what I witnessed.

To me it sounds like you don't want to play around.

I wanted a MAch so bad... Then I was thinking to my self... You will love the mach for the first 6 months, and then probably trade it in for a cobra and lose alot of money... Both are Great cars... But there is just something about the 390hp and 6-speed thats really hard to pass up
