Mustangs are Death Chariots in the rain, its Amazing

This is my daily driver in Seattle, meaning lots o rain. Since I put on 295/35 18 Kumho MX's, it handles great. You just have to watch the throttle coming out of corners. Other than that, the tires pretty much stick.

The most important thing is not to be stupid in the rain, around here everybody thinks that because they have performance tires that they can go 80 in the rain, but when they hit a puddle they realize it doesnt matter about the tires its all about control, and once you lose that your backwards in a ditch....

The only advice my dad gave me was when ur drivin in snow or rain, drive the car like there is eggshells under the pedals. 2 years later, and even with my nittos, I have never come close to putting my car into a ditch. Its all about common sense and not driving over the limits.

Unfortunately, most people don't really use common sense, especially soccer moms with there 4x4's.

One word: TIRES. The better the tires are in the dry, chances are the worse they are in the rain. The tires that came stock on our 01 GT were horrible in the rain, and noisy as hell. You'll be surrpised what some new rubber will do. :)
