Ok I have it narrowed down because of cost to UPR offroad X-pipe or the MAC Prochamber. What would be the best one to go with my 40 series 2 chamber flowmasters? Car is 98 GT stock except for CAI. Want it to be deep and loud but not obnoxious.

Hopefully this will be my last thread on the subject and I appreciate everyones help with previous threads and with this one.

Because I still have extended warranty on this car I have to be able to remove any mods and return it to stock for warranty purposes.

Thanks. :flag:

love my prochamber, sounds good with the 40's, that's what i have. short sound clip below, if u haven't seen it already.

That definately sounds nice, but is too tame IMO. I have the UPR o/r X mated with my 2chambered original flows, and it has quite a bit more bark to it.

I need to get a damn clip of my Cobra up with my setup sometime soon, and have stangnet sticky it or something. It has the deep, echo'ed, throaty pulsing rumble of an h-pipe at cruising/low rpm and idle, but has a unique brashy bark sound to it when you get on it. Taking it to my 7000rpm fuel cut is pure bliss. The sound is the upr x adds to the flows is just very p!ssed off and mean, its very addicting. With my stock H, the flows didnt have that unique exotic scream that the "X" crossover in the upr midpipe adds.

As far as power deliver, i've had people tell me that they can notice a difference in the low end with an H over an X. They say you can feel more torque with the H in the low end. Weither thats just mental or not is debatable I guess, but you cant argue with the fact that the Xpipe gives the most peak HP out of all the midpipes.

Just ordered my UPR offroad X-Pipe off Ebay, will install this weekend hopefully. Thanks for the help.

P.S. Will I need extensions when buying mil eliminators or are they long enough? Thanks.
You will just need mils. If you get L/T's then you will need the extensions.
