...and it sucked. Sure, this was the VERY first time i have ever launched this car, i should have done better. You guys can flame all you want, but i'd really like some productive input too if you dont mind.
my first run i had a crappy reaction (retards wont even courtesy stage up there, i want em to go to ennis and get booted for that). i had a .8xx light and ran a in 9.13 @ 80 something. its pathetic. But the good thing is i still have gears to do, a cam (which bennett said should be good for around 60 or 70 rwhp since my cam is off by about .055 lift and WAY off on duration). It also needs a dyno tune. but what is needed most is seat time. By then end of the night, my best pass was a 9.01 @ 83 with a .547 light
this was only after 4 or 5 passes (last 3 were hot lapping, the damn woman was getting impatient).
on a good note, i know gears are going to help out TREMENDOUSLY! when i went thru the traps i was only at about 5600rpm IN 2ND!!!...
also, if i got some 26" ET streets instead of these T/A Radials (about as much traction as cooper cobras...) i should be able to launch harder.
