Here are some cobra headlights and some other clear corners i got off ebay. The lines match up well in person but are hard to see here. I think im going to buy the silver bulbs for the turn signals that light up amber so i get rid of that annoying orange reflection

Well new to the site guys, just bought a 95 gt vert, and I hate the foggy headlights. The "cobra" lights that you all have, is that 95 cobra lights, and if so where did you get them and how much. Also, I'm guessing that the new style clear headlights won't fit my 95. Thanks in advance and I'm looking forward to modding my new baby.

How did you guys get the head lights out of the housing?

there is a round nut at the rear of the housing that you can see when you lift up the black flap above the headlight. Supposedly you can get a long needle nose plyers or something and sqeeze the two sides of the nut and slide it off. If i remember correctly i think i might have tried that and in the end either cut or pryed it off with a screwdriver- yea it strips the bolt but hey- i don't need the old headlights anymore

im not sure if you have to take of the corners to get to the headlights or vice versa...

One of my projector headlights actually flew off while I was cornering. I guess I didnt snap the tabs fully into place. I definitely liked the light pattern they threw dont though. Ithink eventually I will buy a new set of projectors and a HID conversion kit. Projector HID's = PIMP lighting. :worship:

I'm kind of in a similar bind, I bought some OEM 94-98 Cobra headlights to go on my 95, and yes, you can exert a ton of pressure with needle-nose pliers and get the nut to slowly slide... but the problem is that it's taking for-freaking-ever to just get one nut off (and there's five more to go!). I've tried cleaning and lubricating the bolt/nut with everything from WD-40 to brake cleaner, and they're still basically stuck on.

I'm getting to the point where I'm gonna cut it off, too, but I'd like to avoid that. Does anyone else have any ideas/pointers on getting the black rubber nuts off in one piece?
