I have a 95 V6 that I am going to put a flowmaster exhaust kit on. My mechanic said the cat converters are shot. Does anyone know if there's a bypass kit for this model with the O2 sensors or do I just need to get new converters?

First thing is that without them your car will sound like crap. You can take them off depending upon the emissions in your state however. You can turn the sensors off by buying a chip and requesting they program it that way. (Mine has the sensors ignored.) However, it will sound really ricey if you take them off. I am actually thinking about putting high flow cats on. I have heard that they do not improve performance but do make it sound deeper.
