So just saw the roof of the stang is dented

I just got done washing her and I was drying the roof and I noticed 2 dents about 2x2" each side by side so im like wtf. After I get done drying I pull into the garage and find about 5-6 more dents like that.....Some going in and some popping out. WTF could do this? would someone beating on the car do it? Also how am I gonna fix it? Could I try dry ice? If that doesnt work I guess a body shop could pop em' out pretty easily huh?


If someone did this I need some eggs and a bat.

See if home owners will cover the cost. I had a carport collapse on my car from snow and the cost for fixing was 1000 or so and they covered it.

Probably hail. Not sure of an inexpensive way to get rid of them. I have 2.

I think that people have missed about him saying that they were popping out as well. I would think that the other dents would be from something falling on it, we it an apple, orange, acorn on steroids, fist, etc. but what about the other dents?

cant be hail cus it hasnt hailed at all. I park in the garage so it didnt happen at my house. Im thinking one night when I left it at taco bell for like an hour and someone hit it.

i'm not sure what caused the dents but whatever did it when it was dented in one place it popped up in another,which means that the metal is stretched which is not a good thing or an easy fix. i had a girl suntan on my roof and dent the hell out of it. it is dented in and popped out. the only way to fix this is to get a new roof skin put on,big money. or depending on the damage the stretched metal can be fixed by heating it up and using a hammer and dolly to reshape and then maybe some skim coat filler work. the second would obviously be the better bet but still not cheap. i havent even fixed mine yet.
