BOV on SC Motor

The P600b kit for my 94 Cobra comes stock with a blow off valve. The MAF is after the blower in a blow-thru configuration. The blow-off valve is located a few inches from the inlet of the intercooler, on the blower side. It's very audible, & can be heard over the loud exhaust, inbetween shifts.

i dont see why it wont work, i jsut got home from checking out my freinds turbo setup hes putting together and it seems easy.a vac line hooks up to it just like the bypass valve. if it vents out the discharge tube on the BOV i dont see why if you hook that to the PP it would make a difference. both vent back into the power pipe.

the reason why is it needs a blow through maf and a fox TB setup so you have room for one.

the maf is reading that 1000 cubic feet of air is traveling into the engine and then you bypass this air with the BOV and only 300 goes in then you have a major rich condition and black smoke and back firing

not enough room witha vortech and stock setup to run this.

is the BOV before the maf?

it needs to be

power adder > BOV> MAF > TB > motor

alot of imports have mafless setups... like a haltech system or many stand alones.

does your friend have a stand alone?
