A local person listed a 94 and up Mustang Off-Road X-pipe. I'm trying to get more information, but the person's username says they drive a 96 mustang. What are the chances of this mysterious pipe fitting my AODE?

All the magazines show 94-95 seperate from 96-98.

I'm guessing this guy doesn't know what he's talking about???

I don't think so. I know our cat-back's will usually fit the 96-98's, but I don't think this is the case on the x-pipe.

Check out corral and here. I found one cheap locally.

This is what I sent to Holley:

Your question was:
What is the difference between these two X pipes?

53626FLT
Mustang
1994-95
5.0L

53627FLT
Mustang (2-Valve)
1996-98
4.6L

I drive a 94 GT AODE and found a Flowtech Offroad X-pipe for sale
locally, but the guys not sure which one he has. Will either one fit?

This was their answer -

The one for the 4.6 has a ball flange on one side and a flat flange on
the passenger side where it connects to the headers. The one for thr
5.0 has a ball or flare style flange on both sides.
Thanks,

I thought they started that on the 99+ 4.6s  . When I ordered my h pipe and had it shipped to my buddys house who ownes a 98 4.6 he said it looked absolutly identical to the one he payed more for. But than again thinking is not my strong point :p
