I guess this goes for any year but what tires do you like?

I have kumho supra 712s and they suck. They spin way too much (maybe its my foot). Anyways, what is reasonably affordable 100-140$/tire and has excellent traction?

I was quoted 149$ for Pirelli Pzero Rosso Asymetrico tires which seems to be a good deal and I can get them today.

What do I do!?

I have the Yoko AVS ES 100. They are doing a good job with my car except for some traction issues. They work really well in the rain also.

I have the same here. On a mostly stock car, the Yokes are a great tires, and are fairly cheap, like $118 each. Look up the reviews on tirerack.com You will not have traction isssues with these in your N/A car. Your going to have traction issues on a blown car no matter what rubber you have.

as crappy as they may sound I went with a very cheap tire - mohawks made by yokohoma. They had a treadware of 400 and traction raiting of AA which was better alot of the more expensive tires I was looking at. They are only like 70$ a piece and I'm only getting two right now to see if I like them. They're cheap enough to test them out. If they suck I wont feel bad. I had to buy right away because I just noticed tread showing so maybe next time I'll have more time to find a good tire.

Side note I found nitto 555s for 118/tire and toyo proxie 4s for about 130/tire.

Thanks for the input, I'm going to continue researching because I have to pick up 2 more or maybe a full set if I something I really like.

u just gotta shop around for them, ive seen them for 115, and the toyo proxes 4 for $111, ive acutally been thinking about the toyos, i know one person on here has them and loves them but does anybody else have experience with them?

I got Fuzion ZRi 255-45-17s on my GT. Excellent wet/dry traction performance tire. :nice: I love mine.

ok so I dont like the new tires at all... actually they are pretty good for straight line acceleration. But when I turn the wheel back and forth while driving the whole backend feels like it rolls back and forth. Its an odd feeling, like the sidewalls just aren't as strong as my previous tires. I'm used to a very stiff ride and no swaying. I'll be burning these off or something, I can't wait to get rid of them lol.

I have the Nitto 555 up front and Nitto 555R Drag Radials in the back. Before the DR's I had just the 555's all around and I loved them. They are a great street tire and do good in weather as well.

There are a lot of tires to choose from right now. Good luck with whatever you choose.

I have kuhmo excsta 711 and they hook up extremely good compared to the nitto 55,450, goodyear eagles. I have tried those 3 and I know the 711 hook up better. I don't see how and they were only I think 90 a piece fro 255/40 17's.
