Turbo Coupe Not Starting?

My g/f left my house the other night in the TC and the car just shut off. I pushed it back to my house and tried "popping the clutch" but couldn't get it started. The car cranks but won't fire up. I don't smell any fuel after cranking it which leaves me to believe something in the fuel system failed. I hear the fuel pump prime but can't tell if the motor is getting any fuel. Where do I start? I was thinking maybe it's the regulator so I was going to try and put a 5.0 fuel regulator on temporarily to see if that's it. If that isn't it, I guess I'll just have it towed to my local garage. I don't know much about these turbo 2.3's.

its just like a normal 2.3. If its cranking, has compression, fuel and spark, it Should run.
You can check the pressure at the fuel rail with a gauge on teh schrader vavle.
(cheap! ive seen bycicle gauges work for this !)
It could very well be the tfi...check for spark!
all else fails, check for compression

it happenned to me one day and it was a fault of fuses. probably not your problem but ya know

Like woodster said, check for spark.

My TFI module failed today.

Cruising at 45mph and the engine just died, changed the TFI and all is well.
