I have seen people say to get a tune for those people that are getting a new Throttle body and plenum (accufab). My question is.....How do you get a tune? what are you tuning? and for what reason is a tune nescessary?
Could you do the tune yourself? what do u use for tuning? help...

i wouldnt get a tune after such basic mods unless you are having idle isuues directly after the install.... 'getting a tune' involves adjusting and monitoring things such as fuel pressure, and your air to fuel ration throughout the RPM range.. other things like shift points, speedo calibration, etc.. can also be done.. i highly recommend a professional dyno tune over doing it yourself with a handheld or wideband.... but to answer your question i think you should do some more mods b4 spending $500 on a good tune

I had no issues after I installed the Accufab stuff. I reset the computer but other then that she ran perfect right away. You would benefit from a tune even if your car is bone stock but I would wait until you have some more mods or need to fix your speedo or shut off your rear o2's.
