Dont get me wrong, the Saleen looks very sharp, but WOW does the rear look fat and bubbly.. I dont see why the had to add more to the rear..
I understand that Saleen has been going for the low/long/sleek look since the 99+ up model.. and agian with this new platform, But they could have cut the rear down a tad and moved the wing back, such as ive done. Oh and why not add some chrome wheels!

I agree with the rear end looking way too fat, so heres a photoshopped version with the wing back 2", and the rear cut off more so,chrome/polished wheels, along with some color changes...

the wing ruins it

the wing should be subtle like a flip tail,, not that awful thing there,,, it looks squirly like it is,, if you could,, take off the wing and replace it with something subtle,, and then see ,,

Just for fun, can I add a few more requests?

1> I would like to see the top white car w/ the S351 wing deleted, and with white wheels.

2> The bottom black one w/ the S351 wing deleted.

3> Another car done in "Torch Red" with silver Saleen decals & the silver Saleen wheels. (& 351 wing delete)

4> Another car done in "Sonic Blue" with silver Saleen decals & the silver Saleen wheels. (& 351 wing delete)

5> Another car done in "Screeming Yellow" with yellow wheels ala SA-15. (& 351 wing delete)

Thanks in advance :)

my chop

heres a small example of my saleen chop, just threw some FR500 wheels on there cuz i dont like the ones in the pic, but i shortened the rear of the car significantly, gave it a cowl, ditched the picinic table wing, and modified the b-pillar area to mimic the late 60's early 70's body lines of the stang. If i could find somewhere to host, i could post a much larger pic

Very nice!!

I still think that wing was made from the same molds that Gerber used in the early 50s for that high chair / serving tray for triplets.

And I guess they think a lot of people under 3 foot tall will be interested - what else would be the reason for the stepping points under the doors.

OinkAodeOink,

EXCELLENT work on those!

Thank you very much for that!

The wing that is added on top of the car is the "S351/E/'04" wing.

I think the "wing delete" look (keeping the small lip spoiler) is a clean look that even the Mustangers that do not like wings on thier cars will find attractive.

That is absolutely amazing! The bump and the B pillar really sets the car off!
