how in the hell do you get the bracket off to change rotors

There are only two bolts. I believe they were 13mm. You have to reef on them pretty good. Let's put it this way, i'm 290 and i had to put all of my weight into that thing to get it off. I just about pulled the car on top of me. They put those damn bolts on tight. those were on my rear brakes. The brake calipers are in two parts right? One part comes off easy with the brake lines attached and then you have the bracket holding the rotor. Just making sure we're talking about the same thing.

rofl, first thing i was taught at ford was to swear when wrenching off something that sucked. second was to either use a big a$$ 1/2 in rachet or a solid 3/8" rachet with a good leverage bar attached like a pipe off your floor jack or sometin.

always worked for me cause sometimes you just cant get an impact gun in there. i think your retorqe is about 65 ft lbs??

they come off easy if you know how.
soak em down with your favorite bolt loosener, then attach your ratchet (hopefully youve got a foot long handle at least), then use another 1-2' long combo wrench (something with a loop in the end) and put it over the end and use the L shape you have now for leverage without trying to move the car.
