I for one am very disappointed with this section of Stangnet. ( and 'no', don't simply delete this thread Scott_B or Sleeper77, allow people to have their say ).
A number of Canada East members have emailed me to say they agree, so it's not like I'm the only one. This board as of late has turned into nothing more than jiberish at best, with far too many filler post. Yes, I take some responsibility myself. I'd agree I tend to get caught up in unnecessary threads as I don't back down from anything. Unfortunately that's the worst part of my personality.
Can we please get back to sharing information on the sport/hobby that we all enjoy? I'm writing this post today to show the moderating team, that I'm making every effort not to get involved in useless barble posts and unnecessary comebacks. Should I post anything insulting or attacking, feel free to ban me, however please do the same to others to finally clean this board up.
Why am I doing this? Because I'm about to turn my back on this section of Stangnet because it's simply not enjoyable to come in here anymore. That's pretty sad and can be cleaned up with some proper moderation and all our efforts.
Who agree's and who is from this point on, going to make a conscious effort to clean up the personal attacks etc? That includes the refraining from french written insults and attacks also. It's up to the moderators to be cleaning such insults up and not adding to the fire as well by posting inappropriate comebacks themselves.
This also doesn't call for moderators or anyone else to respond with anything negative... I have accepted blame for being lured into verbal garbage disputes myself, that's obvious. Simply agree or disagree so we can see who's going to stick to the policies of the board. As you've noticed I've deleted my signature also, so I'm making a personal effort. This will be my last however
This is a very clear post, showing a personal attempt to get this board back on track. Any negative comments as responses should either be quickly deleted by the moderating team or those individuals dealt with accordingly. I also realize this could come under critisism, however I promiss you if I was a moderator of this board there would be None of this stuff going on in here. Case in point, we've never had to ban anyone from our own forums because we don't let things slide and fester/brew

... Carroll Shelby post a jab and belittles our efforts to get the board bak on track and then the BOARD MODERATOR Scott_B let's it slide. Even posts right after the crap and he leaves it????
