Spring Saddles- Poly or Roller?

So I'm about to finally dig into my complete suspension upgrade on my 1968. I have a full global west front going in with new upper arms, lower arms, tierod adjusters and strut rods. Springs are progressive rate from pro-motorsport, shocks are edelbrock, spindles from a 1970 and cobra automotive made the new boss-style crossmember. All bushings are midolyne. I need to order new saddles; Question is do I go with poly spring saddles or roller? Is it worth the extra $125 for the rollers? How much is going to effect ride quality? Thanks for the input.

It is a easy and inexpensive mod. The first set I made cost $16ea and are made using stock Ford perches. I make 'em out of new perches now so they cost a bit more to make but still much cheaper than the aftermarket ones. If you have some old perches to work with, all it cost is the bearings, tube and time.

I put a set of rollers in my wifes '61 V8 Ranchero and she said the ride was smoother and it was easier to steer. She also said the rear view mirror didn't shake anymore. I noticed the change right away when I put 'em in my car. It's an overlooked part that does a big job.

Here is the thread about how to make some.

The four rubber pivot points (strut rod, spring perch, lower arm, idler arm) in the car should be changed to bearings, to get the most from the car in my opinion.

I highly recommend them as well.
I noticed my car was much more responsive on the slalom part of the auto-x event yesterday in addition to making the ride a little smoother.

Definately rollerized or bronze. I made my own bronze bushing ones and noticed the difference immediately.

I did the change to roller for drag racing. I haven't had a chance to take it to the track yet, but the difference it so noticable on the strret it is unreal. the front end jumps up now. Now, the shocks are the limitation of the front end.
