What mods would I need to have at least 400 rwhp on pump gas? An easy number to hit so it seems.

I think a cat-back, pulley (what size?), MAF (best brand? size?) will get me close since it's about 350ish stone stock.

Thanks.

The pulley should be the first thing you do. A filter and exhaust are good mods but do not and I mean do not make the difference the pulley does.

$700 and you'll have 500+ at the crank. It's that simple. :nice:

Before any one starts crying foul about the warranty. The motor is the only warranty you will void and it can handle the power anyway. Just do not beat the snot out of it every second.

MMFF continuosly states the motor can handle 800hp.

A guy by me has 618rwhp and 575 rwtq, races constantly at the track, has showroom driveability and no internal engine mods.

but, if it scares you, do the exhaust, the intake tube/filter and a superchips flash (it can be removed without dealer seeing evidence)

There was some guy in florida last year that got 1600 hp with the stock bottom end before it came apart.

Yeah, but that motor is expensive.

tjm73- If warranty is a concern to you, then just go with a catback and CAI. Those mods will put you over the 400 rwhp mark. See my sig.....just Magnaflow CB and Steeda CAI, that's it.

If warranty isn't a concern , then do the above and get a smaller pulley and tune. Then you will be anywhere from 445-470 rwhp.
