And guess what, it comes stock with any 99-04 Mustang!

It's a cool little trick, it's a dealer's test on the Mustang. All you have to do is push in the odometer button while the car is shut off and continue to hold it in until you have started the car and the odometer reads "test". At this point pushing the odometer button will cycle through various bits of information.

Information like your speed (to the tenth), your rpm's, and the temperature of the exhaust expressed in Celsius. Also, you can find which DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) that your car has.

 Here I thought I found something new, ah well.

I can't take credit for it anyway, a mechanic buddy of mine showed me. Also, the annoying belt minder has been turned off. No more seat belt in stop and go traffic.

Huh? So when traffic slows down to a 'stop and go' situation, you take your seat belt off? Why?
I just don't feel safe without my belt on...I've never driven without it and I couldn't imagine doing so (not to mention the fact that it's illegal to drive without it on).

They tell you how to turn it off in the instruction manual.

Does this trick work with the 04s? Everytime I tried it just resets my odometer. I hold the button down, stick in the key and turn it until the accessories are accessable. Do I have to turn the car on? Guess it wouldnt hurt to try.
