is there a cheap way to get rid of rev limiter

Looking at your mods now, and even those coming - I see no reason to bypass the rev limiter. It's doubtful you'll be making peak power even with the mods at anything higher than 5500-6000 rpm. Why do you want to rev it higher?

The nitrous would a good reason to get rid of the rev limiter so that you don't accidentally hit the fuel cutoff and blow everything sky high. You'd still need to install an ignition rev limiter to keep the RPM down so you don't end up over revving. What Mike says makes sense though. You do not necessarily need to remove your stock rev limiter. Just get an ignition limiter and set it a couple hundred RPM below the stock one to protect the motor from detonation up top by running into the fuel cutoff. In answer to your question: I don't know of a "quick" way to remove the stock limiter.
