Falken Tires

They have a UTQG Rating of: 360 A A They are pretty cheap!

Anybody have these tires? Am I just being cheap?

I have Falkens on my daily driver in the summertime. So far, they are great tires and the model I have has a great "curb protection bead" molded into the tire to prevent scuffing your wheels.

BTW, they are also quiet for no more sidewall than I have.

I have the FK451R's or something like that and they are great. They hook pretty damn good and are a pretty good all around tire. I believe they were rated #1 at one point.

I've got a set. I like 'em. Very quiet running. Look cool. Wearing very well so far with a lot of tread to go. One trade was the sidewall way not nearly as stiff as the original Goodyear - hard as a stone- Eagles. Made by Ohtsu in Japan. (Like the ATV tire comp.) Cheaply priced.

Changed my "rock hard" eagles for Falken Z rated 17/275's, they're working great.

Run Ziex ZE-512s on my front end and cornering is greatly improved. Tread wear on these is very good in my opinion.

If they only made them in 315s I'd run them all around. Best tire for the $$ IMHO.
