I just installed the Sirius Sporters Tuner into the Snake. I had it mounted in the larger cupholder and they ran the wires under and up into the console to get to the cig lighter inside. No wires are visible and the led lights on the unit can be changed to green and will match the interior lights of the car. The antena is mounted on the rear inside the car between the 2 holders for a child seat. The guy at Best Buy said it is one of the cleanest installs they've done on any car and concidering the layout of the car I have to say it probably doesn't get much better then that. I'll try and get some pictures of it soon. Can't wait to listen to the NFL games tomarrow :). :flag:

I take it this isnt the ford unit that utilizes the oem mach head unit controls?

What did you mount the antenna to in the back, if i may ask?

Its not actually mounted perminatly just a tiny piece of velcro to the antenna and to the fabric just enough to keep it in place.

How are you getting the Sirius's output into the Mach 460? Is this one of those units that utilizes the high end of the FM band? Or did you get an adapter from these guys: http://www.pie.net/

They sell an adapter (Model #FRDN-AUX ) that utilizes the stock external CD Changer interface on the back of the '01-'03 Mach 460 head unit. This allows you to interface any audio compoinent that has a line-level output.

Sorry '04 owners, your Mach 460 head units are different and this item won't work for you.
