carb intake question

please inform me as to what the best intake manifild is before i switch over to carb......edlebrock 2121 is what i have but i'll return it if there is better

If you plan on doing heads, Edelbrock Performer RPM or Weiand Stealth. If you plan on keeping it mostly stock, Edelbrock Performer. The Performer would match the powerband characteristics of the stock heads/cam better. Hell, you'll even get good gains using the RPM with stock heads. I went from a best mph of 95.89 with the stock intake to a best of 98.51 just by swapping to the RPM. The reason I picked the RPM however is because I'm putting on some RPM heads.

just to pull as hard as possible not really tring to make a drag car out of it more like a circle track car on teh street

Depending on the heads - most people in the carb world are happy with the weiand stealth.
