It faces the same direction. Other that apperance the gt-40, exporer and cobra intakes utilize the exact same runner design.

You must be thinking of a non-H.O. 5.0 it is the only one that faces a different direction.

right, the explorer, cobra, and gt40s are all practically the same, just cosmetically differant. i for one prefer the looks of the explorer, but thats b/c they arent as common on a fox.

yep, and everything I have seen says they flow within 5 cfm of each other.
