Lots of money, what to buy what to buy?

I sold my Mopar yesturday and have some Mod money to work with. I am thinking forged motor, and maybe an intercooler.

I have about 4g's to work with so give me some good ideas and back them up with a good reason why you would do it. Most of you know what I am working from so have at

With that blown beast of your's i would personally go with the forged bottom end. Get the rotating assembly and do it yourself or get a forged 4.6 from VT or Modular Mustang Racing. You could get the forged 5.0 but it would be more than your $4000. Once you get that you can get the intercooler and bump the boost up to 20#'s .

My thought exactly. I can get the roataing assembly for about 2g'sUS, crank and all.

But the MPH stroker for 3800 sounds good too, not to mention an extra 30hp and 40 torque.

Thats the plan. 600HP here I come.


I plan on getting the foundation then add the cooler (still might this year if I have enough), heads/cams, Bullitt intake, and 8-rib conversion. After that it will be bigger injectors and fuel pumps.

I think the bottom end is a gimmie. No point in touching anything else untill the time bomb portion is fixed.

Forged bottom end and blower cams..If you have a lil' left probably should do fuel system with that much power.

I would go with the forged and a FAST stand alone system. From there you options are limitless......

No need for FAST. SCT flash the factory ECM. As for fuel I have enough for 550hp. Only have to up the injectors and add a boost a pump for over 600.

I will be doing the bottom no question, just have to decide how. I am thinking heads now if I have enough. Might as well put on MPH stage 2.5's while the heads are off. Then sell my PI heads for some extra cash.

Cams and intercooler next year.

Yep, the MPH stage 2.5's are on my list. Best flowing heads in the business.

maybe better tranny... or rear end build up would be a good thing to do as well ... and maybe some subframes just to keep thing's in tach with all those pony's just my 2 cents

That stuff is done. I did suspension long before I got the blower.

Tranny is fine I don't plan on running slicks with it. If anything the clutch will fry first.

I pretty much decided I am going for the forged bottom and the heads. As soon as I have the heads I will have a set of PI heads available for sale.

Use that money towards a cooler, then add in the cams and Bullitt intake.
