Folks - we've all seen the news reports and pictures of the devastation in LA and MS. Many people lost - homes destroyed - lives totally up-rooted - jobs gone.. It's the worse disaster to ever hit the USA.
We need to help as much as we possibly can and then help more...
The Salvation Army has announced that if you make a donation to the relief effort and mark that donation to be "100% Katrina Relief" that they will forgoe the typical (and necessary) extraction of administrative fees from your donation and that ALL (100 Percent) of that donation will go towards the relief effort.
The Salvation Army can buy food, clothing and supplies in far greater quantities than we can donate. A dollar we spend may buy a loaf of bread. That same dollar spent my the Salvation Army can buy two loaves of bread, a gallon of Milk and have a little left over. The same holds true for clothing and other things..
Also - The Salvation Army tries to spend the money in the physical area that has been impacted - thereby infusing more money back into the local economy.
Please consider helping.

Thank you...
