My A/C is going crazy...can someone help?

When at idle, my A/C slowly stops working and gets hot. As soon as I start moving, it starts cooling again. When I'm on the freeway, it feels like I'm in a freezer.

I would check to make sure your fan is coming on, for the condenser. Check the easy stuff first.

Where is that located?

there is only one fan if its working, then its maybe the compressor. when your stopped rev the motor to like 2000 rpms and see if it cools, if it does it maybe the compressor. You really need to hook up some guages.
