hey guys i just bought an 02 gt with a paxton 1000 kit and 7500 miles. the sc is the only thing it has done (along with the fuel pump, injectors and chip that came with the kit) i see that paxton claims 360/390 to the wheels. is this true, or should i expect lower numbers? thanks guys

With nothing else done to the car, expect closer to 360rwhp, than 390rwhp. Depending on what it's pullied for, maybe less. Add intake and exhaust mods to your car though and watch the numbers soar. :nice:

so do i need the handheld tuner thing or what? or is there another way to adjust all that. i just sold my srt-4 so im used to either having to get a piggyback, stand alone, or a whole new ecu. thanks for the help though guys.

If it's a stock motor, exhaust, intake, cams, etc. I'm going to say somewhere around 330 - 350rwhp... depending on the tune (if it has one) but with some LT headers, o/r h-pipe, cat-back, t-body, cams, you should be in the 400 - 410rwhp area. Yuo can get some forged internals for around 1200 + install from www.propowerparts.com

I'm sure either set of mods would be good to do.. i'd go with the midpipe and catback myself, since you'll get a really nice sound and some good gains also

But if you go TB/Plenum.. i'd go with the Accufab 75MM setup :D looks nice and gets nice gains too
