9 inch wides front wheels?

Im going to convert to five lugs as soon as I get this wheel thing sorted out.Im using the 400 dollar kit they have at 50 resto and was wondering is anyone using 17 by 9 wheels on the front of your fox. I cant find any 03 cobra wheels that are 8 inchs wide and thats the wheel I want to use. If so what size tires are you running and do you have any rubbing problems?

i got 17x9's up front on my 85 lx. The rims/tires rub on the inside if I make really sharp turns, but other than that they're fine.

If you have a 90-93, and depending on how low your car sits, you shouldn't have a lot of major rubbing issues. They will probably still rub though if you turn the wheel lock to lock, but it won't be too bad.

It looks like the kit you want to use comes with 5 lug rotors that attach to your exsiting spindles. I dont think you will be happy with the use of that setup and 9 inch front tires. The 95 spindle will give you the better geometry that will be needed for use of those rims. I'm in the middle of my 5 lug now and its a pain. I thought it would be much easier than it has been.
