OK, this is going to sound wierd, but does anyone know if the Holywood Horsepower diecast is Lizstick red? If so, I'm going to try and find one (probably eBay) for my wife for Valentines day. She wants a real one, which I have had no luck finding, so I figure she'll get a kick out of the diecast. :D

she will never know that it isn't Lizstick Red unless you buy her a real one down the road. Besides its not that far off:

The one I have for sale on ebay:

It look pretty damn close to me, but then again, I am partial color blind (I can't see shades) Why the hell do you think I buy all white cars :D
If you want to buy it, let me know as I will end the auction now for you and relist the three remaining cars: :nice:

Who wants to be the one to tell Robert his cars are really "Mineral Gray"?

:D

That would explain everything!! I can never get my cars to sparkle quite like your Speedster Mike, they always seem to have a "gray" tint to them when detailed. I should have Ted over to wash my cars on the once a year wash system you have adopted for yours.......

Not bad looking. However, too many miles, no brake upgrade, looks like no wheel/tire upgrade. The only good thing about it is it has a s/c. If I buy another one, I want it to have some of the preferred options. Yea, yea, I know, I'm friggin picky...:D

Robert - You've got mail...

I would be picky as well. The miles don't mean *sit, espically if you plan on driving the damn thing. I would, however, hold out for the right options you are looking for. Check out what Todd did with his gold car. It took him well over a year of searching and waiting, but he got the Saleen he wanted with every option you could order on that car. You, however, may be limited to certain options if you really want the Lizstick red. You might have to find ANY one you can and then spend the dough to mod what didn't come on the car....

I'm sure you're right about the Lizstick. I'll take whatever options it has should one become available. However, if not that color, I want the brake upgrade, wheel/tire upgrade, and the Saleen Leather with a s/c. As you've probably figured out, I like the more rare colors. My particular color is pretty rare. I also like the gold, that funky blue (damn, brain fart, just saw one on eBay the other day), competition orange (that would be sweet), berrillium (spell??), etc. Also, as I stated before, I like the white with the blue graphics as well, even though white is a run of the mill color :rlaugh: :stick:

Huh, yes the run of the mill white which is only offered in one shade: Crystal White. Where as you have Lazer Red, Torch Red, Performance Red and Lizstick Red. Last time I checked ebay, I sure do remember seeing alot of red Saleens for sale compared to white ones. But your right, white sure is run of the mill............:chair:
Let's not even start on the purple thing again, :nice:

You have to Remember here, that in Robert's eyes, all the different colored Red Cars All look the same!:D Maybe theirs alot of Red Saleens for sale because Saleen produces alot of Red cars knowing thats what people like and want and most importantly what sells in todays market??? I'm not saying I don't like White Saleens, I love them all and their all unique in their own way, but In general people and consumers seem to love Red on Sportscars??? When you think of a Ferrari what color do you think of????? Red Right???? :) My question here is when you think of Saleen what color car do you think of??? I know Robert and Marcus's answer!!!

David,

Well if you are a little flexible on the color, I heard that Villa Ford, in Orange CA has a “red” ’04 Saleen Cobra Speedster on their lot right now.

Hmm that has to be the Torch Red one...................Since they only built one "red" one in 04.
