To add to this thread here's another observation I made with fueling my 06: As long as I only fill with regular or premium fuel, there's not a fill problem. Only filling with midgrade (or 89 octane, also known as plus) have I noticed a fill problem. This is due to the station's pump setup. The newer stations mix the midgrade fuel at the pump, so you have two pumps feeding fuel into your car. Midgrade is a blend of regular and premium, so you have both the premium pump and regular pump filling your tank. That's where the problem is on mine. As long as I only use regular it fills just fine, there's only one pump feeding fuel and the flow rate is less than the midgrade's two pump rate. Some of the older stations still have a separate tank for midgrade, this fuel is blended at the rack when it's loaded into the delivery truck, and therefore is pumped into your car by a single pump like the other grades. Since I've found that my car runs no better, nor gets any better mileage with 89 or 93 octane fuel, I no longer use them and don't have problems filling my tank.
