Hell
Im thinking of selling the 05. The wife wants a sedan and Im not selling the F150. So I think I will criuse the lots and look at the offerings.

My dream car (that I can afford) is really a 69 or 70 Cougar XR7.

So I may send the Stang on its merry way.

AND, the hype is over, 05-06 GTs are starting to pile up on the lots. I can get a 06 GT here for well under MSRP. I can get a even better deal on a "lightly pre-owned" 05GT, and a even better deal on a 05 V6 vert.

My daughter is out of school and working this month, so she will start paying for the 03 Focus Ive been paying for. That frees up a carpayment. Im still bored with my 05, Ive done all I want to do. I dont even drive it much.

So you bought it because everyone else had one. Now because the hype is supposedly gone you're bored of it so you're selling? If all the cool kids jump off a bridge, are you gonna jump too?

Sacha, your in left field. I own my cars an average of 15 months.

Anyway, I looked over the offerings, nothing yanked my chain. I will just keep the Stang in the garage. Im doing oil changes every six months because every six months Im not getting even 3,000 miles on her.

I've never understood why people create these types of threads. What is the desired reaction you are looking for?

Just sharing my thoughts. No reaction expected.
Thanks for sharing  The mustang is probably not for you. I'm getting that you're into that "I have what you can't have" thing which really makes the mustang wrong for you. You liked the car while it was hard to get but lost interest when it's attainable by anyone who has the money to buy it. It wasn't the mustang you liked to begin with. I’m so glad that it was the car I loved and not the temporary bling fix. I also find it hard to believe you log onto a forum for mustang enthusiasts and post that after a short time the s197 has lost its mojo. and you didn't expect any kind of reaction.

Nope, your head is up your ass. Ive owned more Mustangs, muscle cars, and motorcycles than you will ever own. I buy them, have fun with them, lose interest, then move on to something else. Has nothing to do with what you or anyone else owns. My next project will be a 69-70 Cougar or another Fox. Never had the Coug, but have had 2 Foxs.

Dont worry about me or my reasons for the car choices I make. In fact, feel free to put me on your ignore list so you dont have to read my threads. I will do the same for you.

Now, see, Im a real nice guy.

I think he means the GT's since he owns a V6.
