I currently have Eibach's Sportline Lowering Springs (or they might be Pro-Kit, since i got them 2nd hand and i forget what they are now...but i think they are sportlines) installed on my ride, and while the look of the car is amazing, the ride has been very bumpy ever since the install a year ago. And i think its getting worse now, becasue my REAR struts/shocks are still stock, and i think are going bad now due to the lowered car. (as ou can see in my sig i have aftermarket front struts).
And i know my sportline springs will be bad at the track for weight transfer, and will hinder my performance more than help it...
So i want to get some great drag racing springs...but still have the lowered look of the car. I think my sportlines lower the car 2" or 2.3" which fills the wheel well nicely, but i want something that rides more smooth and performs great at the track.
Can someone point me in the right direction for what im looking for...there are SOO many different types of springs out there and i can't decide which would be good to lower the car about an 1" - 1.5" but still be good for drag racing...
I realize nothing will be better than NON-lowering springs and all out drag springs...but i want the lowered look a little too. I want the best of both worlds....currently my set-up isn't good for racing and is just good for looks (or a road-course, which i dont do much lol)
I'm thinking about some Ford C-Springs form "Mustang Tuning" for like $150. What do you think?
