Which amp won't overheat?

I'm looking for a new amp, something that puts out about 400 watts for my sub.
The problem I have with my current amp is that it constantly overheats, and now, instead of shutting off when it overheats, it blows fuses.

I have the amp mounted on the back of the rear seat, so it stands vertically (slightly starting to lean upside down b/c of the angle).

I know some of you guys have amps mounted that way in the Stang, so which amp won't overheat, even in hot weather?

My amp use to overheat like a bitch! I took 2 12v computer fans and wired them into the amps remote power source, so when the amp was on, so were the fans. Pointed the fans so the air blew over the amp and it worked perfect. May want to try that first as its a much cheaper alternative to buying a new amp....unless of course you really just want to buy a new amp:D

www.newegg.com for the fans.

What kind of amp do you have, and what size power wire? How hot is it when the fuse goes? Can you hold your hand on it, or is it basically a George Foreman grill at that point?
I don't suggest going the fan route, but if you do, run them off a relay and not off the remote from the head unit (I've seen it done).

I've had 3 different Alpine V12 amps and not one of them ever overheated. The V12's have built in fans and their power output is also underrated. They're also one of few companies that still bench tests their amps and sends the quality control test sheet in the box.
