Well yesterday I did a burnout, only my 2nd one ever, and immediately after my clutch was acting funny. I did a heel-toe burnout so maybe I rode the clutch a little too hard, but now it feels more "springy", more stiff, and it takes long for it to engage...i.e. it used to fully engage once i let it out about half-way, and now it doesn't even start to engage until i let it out about half-way and doesn't fully engage until I've almost completely let off the pedal. It doesn't slip at all and it engages fine, just takes longer. Am I going to need a new clutch soon or does it just need re-adjusted? It figures that I would mess something up after only my 2nd burnout. Just my luck...:nonono:

I dont know if your car has this option...

Manual Clutch adjustment....
park the car in 1st gear. Turn engine OFF. Place left foot UNDER the clutch pedal and LIFT the pedal towards you. Once you hear a click..then your pedal should be adjusted. if u dont hear anything then I dont think u have that option with your stang...

Your clutch should go back to normal after a day. I had a similar feeling. And it went back to normal after the clutch had some time to rest....
