New York City shops?

Hey,
I just picked up my new 06 GT a few days ago and wish to get some work done. I am new to this scene, so was wondering if anyone knew of any shops in or near the city that you would recommend. I live in downtown Manhatten on Chambers St, so getting to Brooklyn or Queens is always an option.
I want to find a shop that can help me with my plans of adding a CAI (w/ tune, naturally), new wheels/tires, exhaust and hood. I plan on doing this over the next 6-9 months, with CAI and wheels coming first.

Oh, and also, I want to go with 19" rims, but fear that they can get damaged in potholes. is this a possibility?

pick-up a copy of MM and Fast fords and have a ball. most everything is just bolt-on stuff. if you lived in KY i would do it for ya.... have fun...

i think i can help u. google mustang magic, they r real good, and also do the same for real speed , dan who runs the place is one of the best around.
