Import companies have been doing this for decades. VW (as previously mentioned), Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Toyota and Honda all come immediately to mind. I know a guy that started a shop called "Honda & Toyota Auto Repair". Both companies hit him with cease and desist orders almost immediately. He now calls his company H.A.T. Auto Repair.
This isn't just Ford, it's companies world wide. They spend literally BILLIONS of dollars promoting their names and products and want to protect that investment. I feel sorry for the businesses that are going to be affected, but I certainly see Ford's point. It's called trademark infringement.

I remember reading all these articles about how supportive Ford was of the aftermarket when developing the 05 Mustang.
Maybe Ford would consider allowing companies that can meet certain quality standards to use their names?
I can understand a hack company that makes crap parts, has lousy customer service, and performs poor installations of parts being sued by Ford.
It is the companies that provide quality parts and great service that I feel sorry for.
FRPP makes agreements with specific companies who sell their products.
Maybe a liscensing type agreement is the solution?

I went to my psychic card reader, she did some taboo weegie board work for me, we summoned Mr.ed, he and all the other horses are ****in pissed off, he's spiritually going to contact some of his living descendants which are race horses and have their owners sue Ford to even up the score
