I need to shut someone up... go from high 14's to low 14's???

I don't argue anymore, last argument was that he thought a cam change on a stock 5.0L would give something like 40hp... So in his mind to make a 300hp 5.0L all you need is a cam change, K&N air filter and pullies... I wish it was that easy!

I did manage to shut him up in a crowd of car folks when he was telling everyone how fast his car is, how he raced with a fox body and how he won by 10 cars and whatnot... I said to them "I don't know about you guys but 14.75@93mph doesn't scream super modified Mustang to me".

Exactly. I think most ppl know that unmodified stangs can go 14.5 sec easily.

you'll take him. My car isn't fast and i won't make it out to be but my friend, recently converted from a honda raced me with his 90 lx. It went something like this.
We pull up to a deserted red light, noone around.
Me"Comeon man just a quick race"
Him" no I AM NOT RACING YOU"

We have the same mods except for i have an electric fan, 3.73 gears, k and n, short shifter(mine is better) I follow suit and I am imediately at his door. I keep pulling on him through all of third, i got to where my bumper was at his tire and he let off, at about 65. He tells EVERYONE that he got me by 4 car lengths, I said bull**** i wanna fuggin rematch. He refuses to race me, reason being "I don't want to waste gas. " So basically go shut that bitch up. I have little shutting up to do as well.

Probably because they were bad. But i can't think of any mustang ever having 8 02 sensors.

cant say for sure,but I remember my brother telling me he did an exhaust on a new mustang.Besides complimenting on how much easier it was to do the headers on a new one,he said something about the car having to many o2 sensors.4-6 maybe 8 cant remember for certain,but i know I was like wtf when he told me.Prolly 4 cause they have 4 cats.Just cant be certain!

96-04 has 4. 1 upstream and 1 downstream on each side. I would assume the 05-06 are the same.
