:notnice: someone stole my newly modded mustang last week. I think I'll have to give up the mustang for a long time since I wasn't fully insured. It quite sucked, and this isn't the first or the last time mustang owners in the bay area (sj) will get theirs stolen. Too bad it had to happen to me. right after i got my car dyno'd at 270hp to the wheels. oh well...:notnice:

id kill a man if someone stole my car :uzi: and you don't seem to up set. even if the engine wasn't insured like you had it modded the car still is. call the police post stolen on craigslist but look for your car being sold for parts or something. go to local junkyards and tell them that if a silver gt come in to call you that it was yours and stolen.( give them the vin or something to notice the car with) call the cops. if you really want it back spend some money and get a thing on the TV about it stolen 1990 LX mustang with some pictures. my dads buddy did it when his 89 gt was stolen got it back only 2 days later and the two pricks who took it too who are now doing hard time cuz they had drugs with them too. and a lot of priers. you can get the car back. where were you at when it was stolen?

fully insured? you didn't have it insured for theft????????????

Sorry to hear that, I guess this is the season to steal cars. I was outside my house a while ago and i saw a Mini van dropping one guy out near my house, they did not see me and saw the guy walking along the sidewalk taking pictures of my neighbors cars that were parked outside their houses, the Mother F???? took pictures of four different trucks and cars, I was able to get the LP on the vehicle and reported to the local Police, don't know if they were trying to choose a car for later, but i didn't want to take any chances and a put my SUV in the garage along with my stang, but my wife's car stayed outside.

dude you are in san jose? no s#it....im in campbell. that sucks bro....i swear ill kill someone if they touch my car. any description of it so i can keep an eye out?

Sucks dude. Sorry to hear that.

I've had mine stolen too, but I was fortunate enough to get it back. The a-holes left mine running at the mall, with e-brake on and parked next to where another mustang GT was parked (also stolen). They left mine there b/c it was almost out of gas, I'm sure.

I know how you feel. Take action.

Good luck.

Sorry to hear about your loss... Sometimes it feels like your heart was just ripped out. The next time it feels like someone cut off your legs. After the second time you get real serious about theft prevention. However, if a theif really wants your car; they will figure out how to get it.

So my question: Did you get it back?

I have a friend of mine that had his bronco broken into 3 times, radio stolen twice and attempted a third. After the first two times he replaced the radio and passenger window he secured razorblades to the back of the radio head unit and he came out after a week or two to his truck with his passenger side window broken..AGAIN but his radio was still there, along with a dotted trail of blood from under the dash to the passenger side door...

Anyway, i live on base so having my car stolen isn't a big concern to me, but a friend of mine has a clifford alarm with a backup power source, and a battery kill switch hidden in his car. I myself thought about doing the kill switch and utilizing a removable steering wheel/hub...
