I don't have the TF upper but I have the Professional Products TB/Plenum and the WMS Velocity intake(ceramic coated 4" tube with 90mm Pro-M meter) and I get a whistle kind of sound at certain throttle positions and load.

The tranny from the 2000 uses an electronic speedo. I'm not sure but an aftermarket electronic speedometer might work.

thanks for the reply, I have been trying to get rid of the wistle its driving me nutz.I read somewhere that someone else did was gonna do something to get the speedo to work but they never posted thier results

Yeah my Dragon intake with accufab 75mm TB does the same thing. But my plan to fix that is to add a really loud blower to cover up the sound of the intake:nice:

Not surprising, since the PP plenum looks just like the TFS plenum.

Yes, my TFS plenum whistles too (it doesn't sound like a blower to me). I am sure there are no leaks there. I think the whistle is inherent in the design of the plenum. It doesn't drive me crazy, but it is still a little annoying.

Yup, I have the same Dragon plenum w/75mm Accufab tb and it whistles. Kinda loud when the air outside is cold, and it was usually at low cruising rpms when I give it a little bit of gas.

I was under the impression that only the Dragon really whistled because it had a vein running through the center. I could be wrong though, I don't remember what the inside looked like it's been so long.
