the price is the total of the parts needed to complete the two doors. I think the most expensive part of the 1967 deluxe interior is the doors, since they are the main focal point.

Jay is right on with this, and is just one of many examples that the UP cars are really nothing more than thrown-together bondo wagons designed to bilk big money from boneheads with too much of it. Also Mustang Depot's prices are no higher than anyone elses, plus look at his car, he is very much in tune with what works and what doesn't. Can you say that about all the other vendors?mdjay said:UP used standard door panels on their e cars!

zookeeper said:No, but I do remember seeing them built on an episode of "Rides" a while back. The two things that stuck in my mind were the huge amounts of filler heaped onto these cars and the hodgepodge of interior parts, such as the '68 standard panels. I personally like the look of the Eleanor movie cars ( I even have a poster in my garage), but really dislike the idea of mass-producing clones and calling them real Shelbys. They are no more Shelbys than my clone, the difference being that I'm honest about what my car is, Unique Performance is not.
