Car won't start, any ideas???

Car won't start, any ideas??? (need to drive it home in 4 hrs)

88' 2.3L 5 speed hatch

Car turns over, but won't run. Can't hear the fuel pump. Checked the relay under the seat, = Good. Hot wired the pump from the wires under the seat, pump turned on, and could start the car. Put relay back in and won't run now. When we checked the relay, it made a clicking sound when power was applied to it. should be good right? Any help would be great, I gotta get home in about 4 hrs. Fuse??? any others with same problem??

I'm having a similar problem with a '90 2.3. Can you show me the thread you found? Assuming you found one here???
