AOD Trouble

I just got done putting my motor and tranny in my car and i go to drop the distributor in by turnin the motor over and its locked up. The motor and the tranny seperate each turn over just fine but with them bolted together they wont turn at all. My friend had this same problem and im not sure whats wrong whether the torque converter didnt go on all the splines or something. Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys...

Did the motor slid on the tranny and motor bolt together easy? or was it hard to bolt together, if it was hard to bolt together it sounds like the converter might not be all the way in.

Push the converter in and rock it a little.... once it seems all the way in spin it clockwise and it will suck itself all the way in... i had the same problem only mine wasnt even seated enough to bolt the tranny up

Yea the motor and tranny bolted together real easy which is why i thought it was right but i guess i gotta try spinnin it clockwise to make sure its all the way on there. Thanks guys and hopefully i can get his put back together and back in there today...
