Lightning mass air

You can use it but you have to either buy an adapter so it will plug into your stock harness or you can splce in a harness from a lightning or whatever else uses the same plug. It is not plug and play with #42s because ford doesn't calibrate meters like pro-m or c&l does. It will work with #19s, or if you get a tune it will work with #42s.

the lightning MAF will not work with any size injector unless you have a way for the ECU to reconize the new meter. Wether it is a hand held programer or you go to a tuner and have a chip burned for the application doesnt matter, but it will not run right with out it. I just spliced mine into the factory harness and ran the 42lb inj. wih the fuel pressure turned down to 25 psi. This let the car run well enought to get to the tuner, but it wouldnt idle until the tuner burned the base tune that let the ECU know what size the MAF was.

Has anyone used the lightning mass air and is it plug and play with 42# injectors

As stated in previous posts the LMAF will not work with an A9* computer, regardless of injector size.
Keep in mind that Ford Calibrated it's MAF meters to the computer.
Only the aftermarket calibrates the MAF to injectors.

The LMAF could be used, but only if a custom EEC tune was created.

On the other hand...
The 70mm MAF from a sn95 Mustang is a direct swap in an A9* series computer.
It is literally plug and play.
Look for a 94-95 v8 OR 3.8L Mustang
OR
92-94 4.6L Crown Vic
Either of these 70mm MAF tubes will have a MAS part marked "F2VF"
