Soo I feel pretty stupid. In a 00' Cobra and I hit this corner a bit too fast (65 in a 20 mph corner). I came in pretty good and didnt plan on braking until I saw traffic ahead, hit the brakes right into the corner :bang: and i just started sliding . I kind of paniced because it wasnt my car and I was heading for a curb, so I was hard on the brakes (another :bang: ) I slide left, brought it back and kind of over corrected and spun the other way and bounced over a curb and kept going. At that point I was just pissed so I got out and nothing looked damaged which was good. The car still drove straight, brakes felt fine, no weird vibrations. I got under the car and nothing look bent or damaged. What should I check, if anything else?

First I would check my shorts.

If it wasn't your car, who's is it? I would check the rims to make sure I didn't damage them, then probably take it to an alignment shop to have alignment professionally checked. Especially if it wasn't my car.

hmm

Well seeing how there are only 300 Cobras made in 2000 that is one heck of a rare car and I'm sure owner is going to be pretty pissed. At that speed it is impossible to hit a curb and not mess something up. I'd say you bent a rim at the very least, alignment is definately going to be off and possibly steering shaft issues.

:nice:

Yep, my thought exactly. On both points. More likely it's either a '99 or '01, however, regardless of the year there's going to be some damage. If it's a '99 or '01 get out your checkbook, bend over and get some KY ready. If it really a '00, bend over, get out your check book and forget about the KY, it's going to hurt.
