:bang: For some reason when I am changing gears the rearend seems to have this clunk in it. Like it is loose and smacking the bottem of the car when I shift. Does anyone know what would cause this?

My friend had this problem in his cadijunk cts-v and the dealer told him that was normal. So he traded in the car and the dealership where he traded it in took it to cadijunk and made them fix it. So obviously that's not a normal thing for a car to do. I sure as hell wouldn't buy a new cobra if it did that! It's quite embarrassing and unless I shift "perfectly" it does it.

irs. in the 03-04's it has to do with the 4 IRS bolts....supposed to be 14 mm....comes 12 mm.

changed mine and is is 10x better....not sure about the 99-01's though. IRS cars, but not sure.

both my 03 Cobra and my 02 GT do that. i just figured its fords quality engineering and huge backlash tolerances in the driveline. mine does it only if i get lazy and shift slow, if i shift quick its fine.

can you be more specific on where the 4 IRS bolts are in the system? I also heard it could be the rear sway bar
