Hi, fellow stangers! I've been wondering something for awhile... I have a 98 Cobra with 120,000 miles on it and it's all stock. Just the K&N filter and flowmasters. Runs really good, might use a half a quart of oil in 3000 miles, got the occasional tick from the passenger side head when the engine's warmed up. So my question is: would installing a supercharger be risky with this many miles on the car? I've been looking at a few of the 03-04 Cobras that I really like.. found a couple nice ones for 24 to 27 thousand. Think it'd be worth my while to suffer with a high payment for a car with less mileage and more power?
Just curious as to what you guys think on this issue! Another thing kinda off topic is that I've been getting a sulfuric smell when I dig into it. It's gotten way better since I switched gas stations. Is there any for sure way to test the converters besides the sniff test?
Hit me back up! Thanx...
