My 6 year old son was with me which was the scariest part, we're both okay though. I think we did a 540 in about 12-15 feet, part of it on the nose.

That dark spot in the middle is about 11 feet down. Nose hit there from the direction the pic is taken from, it spun and the driver's side rocker and door hit those two trees just on the other side and then it spun back to facing where I'm standing at taking the pic on that pile of brush just to the right of those trees.

This is where we sat looking back up at the road.

Here's another view, that branch is covering up the road level, if you look at the upper right hand corner, you can see the back of a pickup that went by.

Here I'm standing at the culvert looking up at the fence post that wedged between the leaf spring and the right rear tire.

This scar is about shoulder high on this tree.

The road runs east/west and there are some pretty tall trees on the south side. We had gotten 5"-6" of snow at the end of last week. You know after the snow has been there a while, you'll get down to the asphalt where the tires run, but get the icy, slushy mess in the middle of the road under the car and the strip between the lanes? I had drifted over a bit and caught a spot where it wanted to put the front tire on ine side of the hump and the rear on the other. The hump was about 12" wide and about 3"- 4" tall, sort rounded. I corrected, it bit and swapped sides with the tires, I corrected again, everytime I did it got worse so I let it go.

The truck isn't a 4x4, it came with 31x10.5s from the factory though. But the big ballon tires along with the short wheelbase contributed heavily I think.

Wow.. sorry to hear that. Father/son memories eh?

We've had lots of problems here in Shawnee as well. My wife even stuck the pickup in the yard the other night... and didn't tell me until bed time.. :(

Glad to hear you all are ok.. that is what matters most.

Same concerns here. Glad you guys are OK. Just like my Cobra wreck, it's who's inside that's important, cars can be fixed.

BTW - Spindle worked great! You can see it on the repair thread!
