Another shorty header question

I have a set of shorties from a fox just laying around and my egr is deleted with my chip so should I go ahead and put them on? Will they change the sound of the car any will there be any power gains? thanks

Wow! You just opened a can of worms, there! You'll get one of two replies from that question, in this forum. One) "Makes no difference/waste of time and money--go longtube!" Two) "Makes no difference, on an engine with your mods--go shorties!"

In short, (and without personal opinion) yes, they will work. As far as I know, the only difference between Fox and 94-95 GT headers is the port for the EGR.

What fox headers? Stock manifolds or aftermarket?

I was able to run 12.79 on nitrous with stock manifolds. I waited to get aftermarket shorties for an engine swap.

just put them on. depending on the size of the tubes it might change the sound.
